Anderson was natural inside California and began her career in a total of little television roles, including the role of Millicent on The Brady Bunch. At dozen years aged, she won her role within Little Home on the Prairie ahead of hundreds of rival. Fallowing a popular series ended around 1980, she continued her acting in many TV shows, like The Equalizer, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and Murder, She Wrote.

Around 1998, she was inducted into a Western Performers Hall of Fame at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Has ii kids, girl Piper & boy Griffon, by owning hubby Michael Sloan.
